HOLLAND, Betty B., age 95, of New Boston, August 11, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Clair Holland. Loving mother of Richard (Lynn) Holland, the late Thomas (Janet) Holland, Kathy Holland, Karen (the late Frank) Holland and Lisa (Ray) Ziegler. Cherished grandmother of Laura, Anne, Kelsey and Shane; and great grandmother of Celeste, Danielle, Nelson and Calvin. Betty has been surrounded by her loving family, including her surviving brother George and sister Alice. Betty recently celebrated her 95th birthday with a great party at her home. She was an active volunteer, including years volunteering for the church Woman’s Club where she prepared delicious roast beef dinners monthly. Always the farm girl, Betty filled her pantry and freezer with the bounties from her garden. She shared her garden with many. Betty passed down her love of volunteering, gardening and canning to her family. Special appreciation and love to Gail Phillips, who has been a great blessing, and newest member of the Holland family. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Oral Liddle.
