Bobby "Bob" Lee Hoskins, born on December 3, 1935, in Harrogate, Tennessee, passed away on August 18, 2025, in Trenton, Michigan. Bob lived a full and enriching life of 89 years, marked by his unwavering love for his family and his passions.
Bob was a man who found joy in the simplicity of working on cars and being outdoors. He had an innate talent for fixing things, always ready to lend a hand and solve a problem with practical action rather than words. His love encompassed not only the mechanical but also the personal, as he cherished his time spent with his beloved wife, Wanda, to whom he was devoted for 61 wonderful years.
A dedicated family man, Bob's heart overflowed with love for his daughters, Gwendolyn (Samuel D.) Buchanan and Deborah (Ronald) Majka, and his grandchildren, Andrew Majka, Jessica (Jesse) Chuba, Ashley Majka, Joseph Buchanan, Shane (Bailey) Buchanan, and Brendon Buchanan. His joy extended further to his great-grandchildren, Owen Majka, Luke Chuba, Cade Chuba, Saylor Buchanan, Oakley Chuba, and Beau Buchanan, with whom he shared precious moments.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Cora Hoskins, and his siblings, Henry Hoskins Jr. and Colleen Lambert. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and remarkable memories for all who knew him.
He will be remembered as a steadfast presence in the lives of his family and friends, always there with a helping hand and a heart full of love. His memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
