Cathleen Dawn Hall, a beloved mother, partner, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away in her home peacefully on June 4, 2025, in Romulus, Michigan, at the age of 60. Born on May 23, 1965, in Garden City, Michigan, Cathleen brought joy and warmth to all who crossed her path.
Cathy was a vibrant spirit with a love for life’s simple pleasures. She had an enduring fondness for all things Coca-Cola including clothes, soda, and other merchandise. She also enjoyed spending her leisure time solving puzzles. Cathleen cherished the sunshine and warmth of Florida, often speaking fondly of her visits there especially the sand and water on her feet. She also found an immense joy in the excitement of scratch-off tickets, delighting in each moment of anticipation. Cathy was a helper at heart; if someone around needed anything at all, she would make sure to give it her all or find someone else get the job done.
Cathy’s true passion, however, was her family and loved ones. Her kind-hearted nature and generous spirit were a source of comfort and inspiration to those around her. This was evident in her being the best mother and an all-around blessing. She was always the hardest worker in the room, earning perfect attendance multiple times from Ford Motor Company of where she later retired.
Cathy is preceded in death by her father, David Hall, and her beloved dogs, Jack, Jill, Buster, and Sophia.
She is survived by her devoted partner of 37 years, Mark Zmijewski; her loving mother, Barbara Hall; her cherished daughter, Amanda Hall and her partner Joe Giordano. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Lorrie Parker and husband Mike, and Holly Rasch and her partner John; her treasured nieces, Christie and Melissa; and her nephew Ryan, along with his children, Kenzie and William. Her loyal dog, Otis, and bird, Kiki, will miss her dearly. Cathy will also be missed by Michelle and her husband Ron as well as Michelle’s 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
Cathy’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family and friends, her infectious laughter.
