Condolences

  • I came to know Dave in my role with the Dept. of Veterans Affairs and quickly saw him as a solid and good man, an honorable veteran who served his country with great courage and a person you felt you could count on. I know that at this time it is difficult for family and close friends to hear what others say at the passing of one so loved. I ask your indulgence. The night following his death I awoke thinking about David and began to pray . At first my heart was heavy but soon there was a calm and uncommon sense of peace. The experience confirmed that your loved one and our brother veteran is living in the place our God prepared for him in eternal glory. I hope this doesn't sound like a platitude because it is very real to me and comes from the heart. Paul Paul Esser
