Condolences

  • Dearest Dominic, It has been one year since you left and flying high in the sky. There is not one day that I don't think about you. You brought joy to so many people and you were light on the most darkest day. I feel most fortunate to call you my dearest friend and my brother-in-law. Love you forever. Kimberly Hall
  • Dominic, Our love for you is infinite. You will be forever in our prayers. You were always there for us, sharing life's laughter, sharing life's sorrows. Even when flying high in the skies, you were only a phone call away. You were always charitable whether it was for a child’s tuition at St. Joseph’s Church and School in Wayne or to God’s smaller creatures. You knew the names of every dog on your walks in the neighborhood and stopped to pass out treats. You gave up your comfy recliner to Marlowe, the cat you rescued. When you rode your bicycle to Mass from Trenton to Wayne, we would chuckle that you made it on time. Afterwards, we would go to the Social Hall to chat with friends and the Nuns. Sister Corinne would light up when you walked in just as you lit up the lives of everyone you touched. Guided by the stars in the sky, your last flight was home to heaven. God Bless You. • Dom was my instructor and more importantly a friend. He taught me to be a pilot but he also taught me to slow down a bit and enjoy life. I will forever miss the time in the cockpit with him. Telling jokes and teaching all at the same time. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I will never forget you my friend. Chris Hancock
  • I met Dominic in 2017 as a young student pilot trying to find my way. Dom took me under his wing as a protege of sorts. He taught me so much about aviation and life. He was one of the only true mentors I have ever had. I am the pilot I am today because of him and he was one the biggest inspirations in my life by far outside of aviation. I’ll miss the days hanging out at the airport and telling jokes back and forth and learning from him but I am so thankful for the time I did get with him. Dom, I will miss you for the rest of my life and I’m so thankful I got to be a part of your life. I will never forget those memories and will cherish them forever. Jonathan Gurgul

  • Condolences and prayers for Dominic and his family. He will truly be missed by all. Dom and I had a special bond. He was my mentor, coworker at RFD, flight instructor, best friend and just an all-round wonder human. When we got together, we always picked up where we left of no matter how much time lapsed. We shared many fond memories that impacted my life due to Dom. He was loved by all and influenced me and my family, always showing highest respect and genuine interest to everyone. Dom always captured his audience with his wit, humor, storytelling and remarkable knowledge. I especially will miss you Dom. God Speed. May you touch the hand of God in peace. Mike Mike Coleman

  • He was a great brother to me and a wonderful uncle to my children. He was kind and composed in every situation, just like our father. He was the best pilot I've ever known, and the best storyteller I've ever known, and I will miss him with all my heart. I love you, baby brother, and I'll see you in Heaven. Rosemary (Hall) Noe
  • To the family, dominic was one of my fire officers that I had the utmost respect for and learned how to be a good officer myself. Always calm cool and collected, even when it was a bad situation, guess that's what made him a good pilot too! Took us up flying when my friend and I were hungover and I threw up in a doughnut bag he never said a word except for do you want to go back . But I sucked it up and flew around the lake and river for good duck hunting spots. God speed Lieutenant! Robert b Charette
