Dear brother of Tava Brewer, Prentis Howell, Orville Howell, Charles Howell, Linda Adkins, Janice Holt and Paris Howell. He was preceded in death by his son Roger Dennis Howell, his sisters Myrtle Keathley, Bertha Frasure, Dolly Koester and his brothers Sterling and Emmit Howell.
