HOFMANN, J. David, age 68, of New Boston, October 25, 2010. Beloved husband and best friend of 29 years to Margaret Hofmann. Loving father of Renee (Scott) Pledge and Jennifer (Michael) Bono. Dear grandfather of Corey Jones, Cecilia Bono, Amanda Bono and Evan David J. Pledge. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Jack (June) McNinney, his sister-in-law Rusty (Jim) Steffen and his dog Eli. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Yolanda Hofmann. Dave served his country proudly during the Vietnam Conflict as a heavy equipment operator with the U.S Army. He and his wife were avid sports fans and enjoyed golf, bird watching, going to the casino and spending time with their family.
