Obituary

HARRIS, James P., age 66, of Melvindale, January 30, 2018. Beloved husband of Patricia Harris. Loving father of James Thomas (Rebecca) Harris, Jillian Harris and Jamie (Damien) Pedron. Dearest grandfather of Cheyenne, Ethan, James, Nathaniel, Arianna, Christian, Andreyah, Makenzie and Gianna. Dear brother of Catherine, Mary Jo and Deborah. He is also survived by his fur buddies Max and Molly and special cousins Rene, Carrie, Bub and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Mary Lou Harris, his brother David Harris, his sister Jude Harris-Ali, his aunt Judith Haddock, his aunt and uncle Mary and Thomas Bergin. His cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Condolences

I will always remember Griz with his white spikes on the pitching mound. He threw a perfect game in softball once and told me I better not screw up in the last inning (errors ruin a perfect game). They hit 2 balls to me and I was soo scared. Griz and I painted, partied and played together - he will be missed. Patti and the kids, you are in my prayers. Gary Heitman
