Hembree, Jewel S., age 86, of Detroit. Beloved husband of Frances. Loving father of Deborah (Kenneth) Wilkerson. Dear grandfather of Amanda (Steven) Griffith. Great grandfather of Hayley, Alexis and Koen. Dear brother of Ervin, Frances and Leonard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late William and Bessie. Jewel was born in Cumberland City, TN, He went on to serve his country in the US Army and became a member of the Free Masons. The family will be having a private service and entombment on Saturday at Michigan Memorial Park.
