Obituary
Joann Helen Humenik, born on August 1, 1953, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024, in Riverview, MI, at the age of 71. Joann was known for her warm and generous spirit, which she shared with everyone around her.
She cherished spending time with her neighbors and enjoyed family get-togethers and barbecues. Joann had a fondness for playing her numbers in the lottery and took great joy in visiting her family in Pennsylvania.
Joann is preceded in death by her parents Peter and Helen, her beloved nephew, Marcus. She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly, including her siblings, Patricia (Steve) Stojkovski and Peter Humenik. She is also survived by her dear nieces and nephews: Peter (Kathleen), Rob (Michelle), Bryan (Ruby), Jennifer, Nicholas (Missy), and many great nephews and nieces.
Joann's warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever by her family and friends. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
