Obituary
Judith A. Kreszyn-Hoye, age 76, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024 at Highlands Nursing Facility & Rehab in Waco, Texas. She was born at Art Centre Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on February 4, 1948. The widow of Max G Hoye (1999). She was the daughter of Harold J. Kreszyn and Marie A. Lunceford. Sister of Barbara J. Hawver, Harold Kreszyn, Jr., and Laurie S. Stein. Judy left behind her daughter Sheryll (Peter) Berci and son Chad Williamson, grandchildren Ryan (Korine) Carruth, Amanda, Brandi (George) Guzzo, Sydney, Dominick, Mallory, and Kyle, great-grandchildren Haven, Bryson, Zane, Giavanna, and Remington. Judy graduated at Wayne Memorial High School, then years later became a beautician and make-up artist receiving her diploma on May 20, 1981. She was honored and awarded for her accomplishment in the “Styling Roll” on February 26, 1982. Subsequently thereafter, she received her certification on April 27, 1993 as a Nurses Aide. Judy enjoyed Theme Parks, Country and Motown Music, Bingo, and Cards. Throughout the years, her passion was traveling in her R.V. staying for long periods of time in different states across the country in warmer climates “She no longer cared for Michigan winters”. Mom accepted everyone with an open heart, to the point where she would help strangers whenever they needed it. Her generosity was endless. Judy loved her family from a distance but always had time to ask about the children and grandchildren. Her canine companions were dear to her, she was never without a dog on her many adventures. She had a beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and she was fearless and independent. At the end, she was wonderfully taken care of by Tracy Honeycutt of Alamo Hospice in Waco and in no pain. Tracy was our eyes and ears whenever we couldn’t be there and totally went out of her way to pay extra attention to the care of our beloved mother. Our last conversation, Tracy quoted “She had the cutest grin and I’ll miss her”.
We will miss you and you’ll be forever in our hearts…Mom, Sister, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.
