HENDRIX, Kenneth, age 76, of Riverview, July 19, 2017. Beloved husband of Linda Hendrix. Loving father of Tracie (Paul) Sterrett and Mark (Shannon) Hendrix. Dear grandfather of Lauren, Taylor, Connor, Peyton, Emmanuel, Ruby, Taylor and Kyle and great grandfather of Brynleigh and Jonathan. He is preceded in death by his parents Kirg and Kathleen Hendrix and his brother Curtis Hendrix. Ken was an aviator, hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, photographer, RV enthusiast, motorcyclist, avid bluegrass fan and Prevost bus driver for Gateway Church of Christ. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1961 ~ 1966. Worked at Disneyland in operations 1962-1966. Member of Steamfitters Local 636 for 49 years. Owner of C&H Piping Inc. for 10 years. Happily married to Linda (Tittle) for 57 years. Served as a Deacon/Elder in the Church of Christ. Served in prison ministry in Milan, Michigan, President of Golden Agers ministry at Gateway Church of Christ. Papa Ken was a grandfather to 8 grandchildren and a foster grandpa to many more. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
