HICKERSON, Laurie Jean, age 53, of Southgate, December 19, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Jeffery Hickerson. Dearest mother of Justin Sosa and Shelby Hickerson. Loving daughter of Jerry (Lucie) Burkhardt and Barbara (Richard) Vargo. She is also survived by her brothers Michael (Lisa) Burkhardt, Matthew (Kelly) Burkhardt, her grandfather Ken Burkhardt and her aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend Bill Smith. Laurie worked at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn for over 30 years.
