HARRIS, Luana Lee., age 78, of Flat Rock, August 28, 2022. Loving mother of Tammy Lee Wienclaw, George Alfred Harris, Jr and Leslie Scott Harris.  Dearest grandmother of Kevin Jay Harris, Brittany Lee Brandon, Nicole Meghan Harris, Payton Marie Harris, Riley Madison Harris and Brady Scott Harris and great-grandmother of Damian Joseph Harris, Leland Michael Harris, Marlee Jo Cantrell, Preslee Jo Brandon and Zedlee Joseph Brandon. She is also survived by her siblings Jeanette Jean (Raymond) Messer, Linda Jo (William) Arnold, Rodney Allan Patrick, Ray Heinig, Mike (Triska) Heinig, Patty Moffatt, Sandy (Lee) Niles, Rhonda (Jim) Erisman and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd Carl Heinig and Dorothy Marie Akers, her maternal grandparents Ezra Albert and Lois Mae Fulkerson, her paternal grandparents Fred and Hazel Heinig, her sisters Lynette Lynn Hodge and Geraldine Foster, her son-in-law William Joseph Wienclaw and her granddaughter Bianca Nicole Bierschbach.  She graduated from Belleville High School in 1961.  Luana retired from General Motors Powertrain, Ypsilanti after 30+ years on August 30, 2006. She was a member of the 4-H club, the Red Hat Society, Local 735 Women’s Committee. She enjoyed her family, dog, sewing, leather tooling, crocheting, knitting, ceramics, tatting, macrame, cake decorating, airbrushing and collecting dolls.
