Obituary

HAVENS, Nancy P., age 75 of Grosse Ile, passed on November 29, 2022. Beloved wife of Geoffrey A. Havens for 52 years. Loving mother of Geoffrey (Amy) Havens and Nancy (Timothy) Kelems. Dearest grandmother of Chase Havens, Marina Havens, Madison Rush, Eian Rush, and Aiden Rush. Step-grandmother of Ryleigh, Quincy, Kamryn, Zane, and Brody Kelems. She is also survived by two siblings, her dearest sister Mary Dezsi and Sylvia Dezsi. She is preceded in death by her parents Zoltan and Pearl Dezsi, and her brother John Dezsi. Nancy was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her family was her life and she was always generous and willing to help a loved one in need. Spending time with her family and taking her grandchildren on special outings brought her so much joy. She also enjoyed entertaining, baking, and cooking, especially for the holidays with her favorite Hungarian recipes. Nancy had a love of being outdoors and working on the yards of her homes on Grosse Ile and Big Pine Key, FL. With her abundance of energy, she was constantly working hard to make her homes beautiful. She also loved boating, fishing, and shopping, and had a keen eye for decorating her homes exquisitely. If Nancy wasn't working on her homes, she was working at her family business, Silver Seal Products. She worked long hard hours and enjoyed working with her granddaughter Marina, in the company warehouse. Nancy was deeply loved by all of her family and friends, and will be greatly missed.
