Condolences

  • Our Hearts are broken. Many tears have been cried....but our many Prayers for Irene, Lora, Mellissa, and Tommy, Dewayne, Jeannie, and Rob, we love ya'll much! We are remembering Tom with so many happy memories when we spent time together in his home in Michigan or at ours in Hampstead-Topsail Island, NC. What fun we all had playing card games, Uno, Phase 10, Spoons all night or a all night game of Monopoly. Tom & Lora's Home was always open & welcoming for us "out of towners", as ours are, in Coastal North Carolina. I remember Tom & Family staying at our Home during a Hurricane brush on the Carolina Coast. Up all night listening to the wind & rain. Tom and I, Lu Ann, got up the next morning to go watch sunrise & shell hunt after the storm, while the rest of the house slept in. A few years back Tom & Lora tried to show us how to make "Driveway-Blacktop" Cole slaw. Now, that was interesting! We love the Hurley Family and send our Prayers to all. Tom we will miss you very much. Uncle Ernie and Aunt Lu Ann
  • Lora, Melissa, Tommy- While I couldn’t attend in person, my heart was with you as I listened. I cried, I chuckled, & remembered fond memories of visiting the Hurley House from childhood-adulthood on our trips to Michigan. My favorite memory is how he always made us feel so welcome. Opening up the home to the extended family brought him joy & I remember that well & vividly. The late night card games & the early morning coffee drinking I will treasure. I pray that God continues to wrap his arms around you today and the days and months to come. We love you all. ❤️ Fran DeCarlo

  • I was floored when I heard of Paul's passing. He was one of the journeymen I worked under on my toolmaker apprenticeship. Used to talk about guitars and Van Halen a lot. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family. Going to miss you Paul. Scott Russell
  • Lori i am sorry for your lost CINDI L BRISKY
  • I am heartbroken with the loss of Paul. He was a good friend and a great partner at work. We had many conversations during our time at work, most revolved around faith and family. I cannot fully express the depth of my sympathy for your family and truly grieve with you. Jack Durnbaugh
