Peggy Ann Hamilton, born on January 4, 1941, in Erin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 85.
She was a beloved daughter of the late Doris and Marvin Clark. Peggy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. In her younger years, she took great joy in crafting and hosting gatherings at her home, where she delighted in cooking dinners for her children and grandchildren. Her warm hospitality and love for her family created many cherished memories.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Gary Hamilton. Her loving children: Patty (Dan) Decaminada, Dwayne Hamilton, and Lisa (Tom) Shoemaker. She will be dearly missed by her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Edwin (Mary) and Neal, and her cherished sister, Linda. Their memories will remain a treasured part of Peggy’s life and the family she held so dear.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her parents. Peggy's legacy of love and dedication to her family will continue to be celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
