Obituary

Raymond Hall, born on June 18, 1936, in Robinson Creek, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, in Wyandotte, Michigan, at the age of 89.

Raymond was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep love for animals, especially his cherished dog, Winston, and his cat, Moe. His passion for flowers and gardening brought beauty and tranquility to his days. Above all, he treasured the quiet and peaceful moments spent with his beloved wife, Donna, who preceded him in death.

Raymond was the son of the late Green and Rosie Hall. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Fred, Russell, Johnny, Bruce, Charlie, and Sonny, as well as his sister Magdeline.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Sherri (Mike) Czub and Shannon (Brian) Watson. He was the proud grandfather to Chris (Sophie) Czub, Trent Watson, Abigail Watson, and Brianna Watson. He also leaves behind his cherished siblings, Billy (Sue) Hall, Rachel (John) Trandicosta, and Bobby (Sheila) Hall.

A visitation will be held at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, followed by entombment at Michigan Memorial Park. The days and times for these services are yet to be determined.

Raymond's gentle spirit and love for nature and family will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, reunited with his beloved Donna and family who have gone before him.

Condolences

  • Raymond was an amazing neighbor and a truly kind soul. From the moment my family moved into the neighborhood, he welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. Growing up, he always looked out for us and was someone we could count on. He had a way of turning a simple conversation into hours of laughter, stories, and friendship. One of my favorite memories is how we would always trade food and snacks back and forth. It was a small gesture that showed just how caring and generous he was. Raymond had a gift for bringing people together and making everyone around him feel valued and appreciated. He was more than just a neighbor—he was a friend, a mentor, and a constant presence in our lives. His kindness, warmth, and genuine care for others will never be forgotten. The neighborhood will not be the same without him, but the memories he gave us will stay with us forever. Alex Quinones
