Obituary

HEADY, Jr., Reverend Paul D., age 79, of Indiana, formerly of Taylor, passed away on May 27, 2023. Beloved husband of Sharon Heady. Loving father of Sean (Christa) Heady of North Carolina, Dawn Warner of Arizona, and Jennifer (Brett) Lockwood of Indiana. Dearest grandfather of 5, great-grandfather of 5. He is survived by his sister and brother. He is preceded in death by his sister.

Condolences

I met Paul when I worked at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. I knew right when I met him we were going to work well together and be great friends. We did so many funerals together, I can’t even count how many. I can hear his voice in my head as if it was yesterday. He was always there for anyone at anytime. Paul helped guide and comfort people during the most difficult times of their lives. Not only did he officiate funerals, but he officiated weddings too. He married my brother, which was so special to all of us. Paul also built me the most beautiful bookcase, I will cherish it forever. To know him was to love him. I’m going to miss his smile, laugh and sense of humor. You will be missed dearly friend. Rest in peace Paul. I love you. Laura Andries
