Obituary
Robbie Grace Hixson, age 86, of Taylor, Michigan, passed away on September 13, 2024, just one day shy of her 87th birthday. Born in Meigs County, Tennessee, on September 14, 1937, Robbie devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker.
She found great joy in gardening, especially planting flowers. Robbie also cherished watching classic movies and, most importantly, spending precious time with her children and grandchildren.
Robbie was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Hugh Vic Hixson; her parents, James and Gladys; and her sons, Marvin W. Hixson, James M. Hixson, and Randy Hixson.
She is survived by her sons, Hurley (the late Tammy) Hixson and Jeffrey Hixson; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; and her sisters, Betty (Kenneth) Lewis, Mary Ruth, and Dorothy.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a service to be held at 6:00 PM the same day. Interment at Michigan Memorial Park.
Robbie Grace Hixson's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
