Obituary

Ronnie Herrera, born on May 23, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, in Novi, Michigan, at the age of 75. 

Ronnie worked 30 years of his life at Ford Motor Company. He took great pleasure in telling everyone how he loved the fact that he had been retired for almost as long as he had worked.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Samuel and Mary Herrera. Ronnie is survived by his cherished daughter, Ronda (James) Trouse and her mother, Kay Herrera. His dear grandchildren, James (Renae) and Kylie Trouse. His precious great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Silas Trouse. Ronnie will also be deeply missed by his brothers, Roy (Nina), Rubin, Rudy (Linda), and Robert (Jill) Herrera, along with numerous nieces and nephews who have fond memories of him.

Services to honor Ronnie's life will be held at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life. The service will be officiated by Ronnie’s dear friend, Pastor Lamar Walker. 

Ronnie will be remembered for his love of God, family, cooking, get togethers, traveling, motorcycles, his warm heart and passion for life.
