Bilbil Imeraj was a loving husband, father and human being. Bilbil was born in a village named Tragjas in the town of Vlora, Albania. He left his country at the age of 17 when communist took over Albania. He fought against the communist at the young age of 14. He was in a concentration camp for a year then he escaped from there and started fighting in the mountains with his cousins and friends. He always called himself a gorilla fighter. Before he left Albania, he lost his mother and father to the war. His father was Sefer Ismail Imeraj (died in 1943). His mother Aishe Beqir Ormeni Imeraj (died in 1942). He also left behind a older sister, Sirma Sefer Gjomemoj Imeraj (died in 1998 at the age of 74), and 2 younger brothers, Xhemal Imeraj and Prenjo Imeraj. After the war in went to Italy and lived there for 5 years. After he left there, he traveled to America for the pursuit of the American dream. When he arrived here, he started working at Ford Motor Company in 1950. He lasted there for 42 years. He met his wife Dorothy Ally in 1952 and a year later got married in 1953, and had 4 children Sazan Sonny (Barb) Imeraj, Steve Sefer (Vicki) Imeraj, Norma Hajshe (John) Imeraj and Bill Junior Imeraj. He also has 9 grandchildren Andrew, Joey, Joshua, Bilbil, Johnathan,Stevie, Michael, Katie and Julia, 1 great granddaughter Riley Campbell, nephew Sokol Imeraj, nieces Anila and Irma, and great nephew Tyler Imeraj. He was a proud man who loved his countries of Albania and America and who very much loved his family and friends. Sadly he passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the age of 88 years old. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. R.I.P!
