IRONSIDE, John, age 89, of Taylor, June 04, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Betty Ironside of 67 years. Loving father of Lisa (Joseph) Kowalski, Lori (Timothy) Saari and John Ironside. Dearest grandfather of Lauren, Thomas, Eric, Megan, Olivia, Alana, Ava and John. He is also survived by his brother Frank Ironside and his sister Carol Erhardt. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Lulu Ironside and his brother Dave Ironside. His cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Ironside was a long-time resident of Dearborn Heights. Before his marriage, he proudly served in the U.S. Army. His wife, Betty, was the love of his life. He was a loving father and grandfather, always putting his family first.
