JOHNSON, Barbara, age 77, of Southgate, MI, January 17, 2022. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Johnson. Loving mother of Ruth (Bobby) Johnson-Wells and Charles (Sondra) Johnson. Dearest grandmother of Rachel (Tyler) Stidham, Rebecca (David) Perkins, Steven (Rachel) Schnelbach, James Schnelbach, Kylie Johnson, Charles A. (Chloe) Johnson, and great-grandmother to Hudson Perkins, baby Johnson due in March, and baby Stidham, due in July. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Cleo (Fee) Smathers, and her sister Elsie Smathers. A private family service will be held on Thursday, January 27 at 11:00 AM at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, (next to Michigan Memorial Park) 30895 Huron River Dr., Huron Twp., (734) 783-2646.
