Betty Ann Johnson (1930-2019) Betty passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the age of 88. Betty was born on April 20, 1930 in Carleton Michigan, the daughter of Eli and Ann Kecskes and sister of JoAnn Comeau. Betty graduated from Wayne Memorial High School. She worked for Ford Motor Company as an Administrative Assistant retiring in 1995 at the age of 65. Betty served as the President of the Ford Motor Women’s Club. She organized successful fundraisers to assist local community charities and she arranged group travel activities that lead to adventures around the world for many members of the club. Betty also enjoyed her membership activities with the Red Hats Society and the Ford Motor Quarter Century Club. Betty is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren: her daughter Diane (husband Ronald, two children Dominique and Ryan); her daughter Cindy (husband Mark, two sons Mark/Amanda, Michael/Randi); her son Arthur (wife Paola, four children Joel, Corinne/ Merico/children Gabriel and Ariella, Gabrielle and Janae) her son Steven; and her sister JoAnn (husband Edwin, niece Kimberly and nephew David). A memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. In honor of Betty's 89th birthday there will be a graveside interment where she will be laid to rest with her parents at the Michigan Memorial Park, 32163 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134 (734) 782-2473.
