JARRELL, Leonard, age 79, of Ishpeming, January 19, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Durham) Jarrell, passed away May 17, 2014. Loving father of Leonard (Julia) Jarrell and Mary (Kreacto) Hayes. Dearest grandfather of Gaberial Hayes. He is also survived by his brothers Robert (Nancy) Jarrell, Tom (Linda) Jarrell and the late Daniel Jarrell, his sister Phyllis (the late Don) Jarrell Baumgartner, his amazing friend and neighbor Rod Prodell, his grand dog Vegas and his grand cat Taj. He is preceded in death by his parents Alma Conn and Leonard Jarrell. Leonard was born September 01, 1939 in River Rouge, Michigan. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, Michigan. Leonard proudly served in the U.S. Air Force- Gemany 1959-1963. He was retired from the State of Michigan, Department of Social Services.

My condolences to the family. I met Lenny snowmobiling in Big Bay. Spent the next three years riding with him and formed a lifetime of memories. Such a wonderful man, so fun to be around. I remember him saying ” My favorite scenery is a blurr” Sean connors
