Obituary

JELACSITY, Milka, age 105, of Taylor, January 11, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Jelacsity. Loving mother of Karen Rae and Steven (Becky) Jelacsity. Dearest grandmother of Tammi (Greg) Barron, Tari (Kenneth) Morse, and great-grandmother of Hannah (Scott), Emilee (Cameron), Collin, Caleb, Chelsea, Samuel, and Hollie (Austin). She is survived by her furbaby Two-Two. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Elizabeth Lalosh, granddaughter Tiffany Schulte, brother Milton Lalosh, son-in-law Robert Rae, and furbaby Daisy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

  • Dear Karen and Family, I have known and enjoyed ‘Babs’ my entire life having lived across the street from her in Southgate. She was a dear friend of my late mother and my siblings and I were fortunate to attend her 100th Birthday Party. What a special lady !! I am sorry for your loss and share in celebrating hr exceptional life. I will be out of the country Monday and am sorry to have to miss her memorial. Sending much love and a big hug to you all.
