Jones, Richard T., age 63, of Riverview, October 28, 2009. Beloved husband of Lorraine. Loving father of Michele (Joe) Ketterer and Kristi (Gary) Coffee. Dearest grandfather of Kayla, Megan, Karly and Brooke. Dear brother of Denise (Ernie) Rinaldi and uncle of Burt Desser. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Shirley Jones. Rich was a graduate of Riverview High School and Wayne State University. In 1969 Rich went to work for Peoples Bank. When Old Kent Bank bought Peoples Bank, Rich advanced to the position of Executive in Commercial Lending where he continued to work for more than three decades. He later went to work for National City and Charter One Banks. He was semi-retired and worked with Fidelity Bank as an officer in their Southgate branch. Rich was a member and sat on the Board of Directors for West Shore Golf and Country Club, the YMCA and Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber of Commerce. He was a past member of the Trenton Kiwanis and Wyandotte Yacht Club. Rich gave much of his time chairing events and sitting on committees for fundraisers with the many organizations he belonged to. He loved to play golf and was an avid U of M football fan.
