Obituary

KALMAR, Elaine M., age 71, of Southgate, February 05, 2021. Loving mother of Corey (Crystal) Weiner and Cortney Weiner. Dearest grandmother of Caylee and Cayden. Cherished sister of Marion (the late Daniel) Hurd, Phillip (Susan) Jobson, David (Kim) Nelligan, Shannon (Bill) Hite also many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear best friend, Diane Savoie and her former husband Arnold Weiner. She is preceded in death by parents Raymond Jobson and Joyce Nelligan, step-father David Nelligan and brother Jesse Jobson. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Condolences

Corey, I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing, she texted me a year ago on my birthday which was a pleasant surprise, we chatted via text for a while then she told me she was divorced and told me where she was living now. I found out she lived right around the corner from my daughter and said if she didn't mind as far as I was concerned we were still friends and I would stop by and visit her. Then COVID hit and that stopped the social aspect of things for everyone, but I had no idea she was in that bad of shape Corey. There were words I'm sure both of us would have liked to say to each other. I pray God surrounds her with his love she deserves it. Larry J. Schuett
