Obituary

Gwen Michelle Kobylarz, aged 65, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, in Gibraltar. Born on July 30, 1959, in Detroit, her life was a testament to love, family, and friendship.

Gwen was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elton and Ann Bell. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. Her devoted husband, Anthony Kobylarz, stood by her side through all of life's journeys.

She was the proud mother of four children: Billy Larion, Daniel Konopka, Steven (Lindsey Jones) Konopka, and Alexander (Miranda Cunningham) Kobylarz. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

Gwen is also survived by her brother, Jerry (Lori Dahl) Bell, along with many dear family members and friends who will miss her warmth and kindness.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Gwen's honor. Her compassion and generosity will continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

  • Tony, I cannot express my shock, and sadness upon learning of your beautiful Gwens' passing. I remember her for her sense of humor, natural intelligence, her otherworldly beauty, and yes, her patience with you. You two were a great team. I think you knew that from day one.
