  • I’ll always remember Mr. Kelly not just as a hockey coach but as someone who made an indelible impact on my life. He wasn’t just about teaching us how to skate faster or shoot harder—though he certainly excelled at that. He taught me character and respect, both on and off the ice. Mr. Kelly had this incredible ability to see potential in his players, even when we couldn’t see it ourselves. He pushed us to be better, not just athletes but people. I’ll never forget how he always had my back, whether I was struggling with a tough game or dealing with challenges outside of hockey. He believed in me, and that belief stayed with me long after the games were over. Because of Mr. Kelly, I’m a better person today. He taught me that success isn’t just about winning but about how you carry yourself when things don’t go your way. His lessons will stay with me forever, and I’ll always be grateful for the time I got to spend learning from him. Rest in peace, Coach. You’ll be missed but never forgotten. Sincerely, Bruce Andrews Bruce Andrews
  • So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I remember the times going over to the house with Bernie in Allen Park so many years ago. You are in my thoughts and prayers, Joy, and your family. I have thought of you all through the years. May the memories you have carry you through this period of time and all the days ahead. Love and peace. 🙏❤️ Eileen davis
  • My condolences to the family. So very sorry to hear this! A lot of childhood memories with Jim and Joy and you guys when we were all little kids... Remember that big german shepherd he had that we were so afraid of, lol.... Of course since dad and him were cousins I always saw a lot of similarities between the two of them.. Very strong men with big hearts.... RIP Jim... michelle haiduc
