Obituary

KOTZIAN, Kimberly J., age 50, of Brooklyn, April 03, 2022. Beloved wife of John Kotzian. Loving daughter of Deborah (Billie) Smith. Dearest sister of Paul Pouttu, Jennifer Scibilia and Becky Luebke. She is also survived by her aunt Darlene Taig. Kim was an accomplished photographer and author. She had a passion for all living things, but most notably birds. Every spring and fall migration she could be found, camera in hand, at migration hotspots all around the Great Lakes hoping to capture her next great photo. Kim enjoyed exploring the state of Michigan and all its wonders with her husband John. Kim was a member of Keweenaw Bay Indian Community and was overjoyed to have been reunited with her family there. Kim was so much more than a few paragraphs can contain. If she knew you, she loved you. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Her cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
