Linda Ann Kidd-Belknap, born on October 1, 1953, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away on January 22, 2025, in Southfield, Michigan, at the age of 71. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Linda dedicated much of her life to her work as a contract agent for a cleaning company, where her diligence and dedication were evident in every task she undertook. Beyond her professional life, Linda was a vibrant soul who found joy in simple pleasures, such as playing and working at various bingo halls, where she often traveled to Canada to play as well. Sharing laughter and stories with friends she met along the way.
Known in her neighborhood for her distinctive pink robe, Linda's caring heart was a beacon of generosity and compassion. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to her friends and family, embodying the spirit of selflessness and warmth.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Verna Rehahn, who instilled in her the values of kindness and community. Linda is survived by her devoted and beloved spouse, Scott Belknap III; her loving children, Christopher Kidd, Kristen Hooks and former daughter-in-law, Norma Jean Kidd; and her cherished granddaughter, Marissa. She also leaves behind her dear siblings, Jackie (Jerry) Simons, Carol (Al) Marl, and Georjean Rehahn, as well as her niece, Candice Simons, and nephew, Crew Simons.
Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Linda are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park, where Linda will be laid to rest, surrounded by the love of those she held dear.
Linda will be remembered for her enduring kindness, her lively spirit, and the immeasurable love she shared with those around her. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
