Obituary

KAMENSKY, Lucille A., age 94, of Lincoln Park passed away Saturday July 11, 2020 at Bellaire Senior Living Center in Riverview, MI. A native of Kentucky, Lucille was born on October 30, 1925 to James Albert and Cora Rogers Shinall. As a young woman, she moved to Michigan and made her home in Lincoln Park. She retired from her job as a food service employee for the Woodhaven Stamping Plant and spent her retirement years involved with her family for whom she cared deeply. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church (formerly Dix Avenue Baptist Church) in Lincoln Park. She was preceded in death by her parents James Albert and Cora Rogers Shinall, a son David Kamensky, four brothers L.G. Shinall, Roy Shinall, Edward Shinall and Jesse Shinall, and 5 sisters, Rantha Newman, Flossie Dyer, Ethel Hunt, Mary Hunt and Juanita Hillyard. She is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
