Obituary

Rodney Nicholas Kuncho, departed this life on August 20, 2026, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 74. Born on April 11, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, Rodney lived a life full of passion and dedication to his family and his hobbies.

Throughout his years, Rodney found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid collector, spending countless hours shopping on eBay for sports and baseball cards, indulging in his love for classic cars, and cherishing every moment spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren who were the light of his life.

Rodney's warmth and humor will be deeply missed by those who survive him: his devoted wife, Karen Kuncho; his daughter, Karyl (Philip) Pytlowany; his son, Rodney (Katie) Kuncho Jr; and his cherished grandchildren, Emily, Whitney, Owen, Amelia, and Adalynn. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Cheryl (Jim) Trojanowski; sister-in-law Liz (Jim) Florence and brothers-in-law Gary Gladki and Greg (Connie) Gladki, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Nicholas and Veda Kuncho, his in-laws, Andrew and Caroline Gladki as well as his sister-in-laws Christine Gladki and Kathy Hansen.

Rodney will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for collecting, and his unwavering commitment to his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rodneys memory may be made to the Kuncho family.
