Teresa Keene, born on March 25, 1938, in Detroit, passed away on January 5, 2026, in Taylor at the age of 87. Teresa was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Keene; her son, Eugene Rea; her parents, Santo and Dorothy Rea; and her siblings, Mary Ann Rea, Julius Rea, and sister-in-law Diane Rea.

Teresa is survived by her loving children, Wayne (Sharon) Curnett and Cindy (Rob) Wight. She was a devoted grandmother to Bradley, Steven, Allissa, and Jacob, and a proud great-grandmother to Kaiden and Isabella. She is also survived by siblings Anna (Lou) Bochenek, Marco Rea, sisters-in-law Sylvia Rea and Betty Barton. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Teresa's warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
