Condolences

  • Dan, I hadn't heard from you in about a month so I texted you a couple of times but never heard back from you. I started to worry. On a whim I searched Google and arrived here. To say I am devastated is an understatement. You were one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I've ever known. You will always hold a very special place in my heart. Prayers for Gabe, your mother, brother and the rest of your family and friends. Until we meet again sweet man <3 Tracey Arp
  • I was never super close but I always thought of Dan as a very kind, positive person who tried to have fun and laugh - wether it was in grade school, cub scouts, or adulthood. I spent sometime in a pyschward years ago and who should be there working but Dan. And he gave me full respect and encouraged me to keep living and moving ahead. Ill never forget that. Brian Spicer
  • Dan was so special to me! He always made me laugh and made me think. I will cherish all of the memories we made together and will forever feel lucky to have had his friendship. Love you Dan❤️ Jocelyn Mottes
  • Would just like to share our deepest condolences to Dan’s family, friends, and loved ones. You are all in my families thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, The Miszak Family Michael Miszak
  • Gabe, I want you to know that we are all thinking of you during this tough time. We are so sad to hear about your dad's passing and are here for you! - The Faculty & Staff at Summit Academy Jessica Kull
  • My deepest sympathy to the entire Lacroix family. Dan was an Art student of mine and because I still remember him you know he was one of my favorites. He and Brad could definitely bring a smile to my face on some of those more difficult days. I will always remember him fondly. Patricia Johnson
  • A good portion of my childhood was spent over Chuck and Debbie’s house. I was there in 1984 the day the Tigers won the World Series. So obviously a lot of my time was spent with Daniel and Bradley as well. I’m extremely saddened by this. Definitely way to young for anyone to pass. I am truly grateful for all the time I got to spend with Daniel and his family and my deepest sympathies go out to everyone in his family. Scott Longton
  • I’m so sorry for your loss. Dan was a great guy, he made working in the warehouse at Circuit City a lot more tolerable. He will be missed. Glad I got to know him. Prayers to the family and friends. Robyn Reddig
  • My heart goes out to you Debbie and Brad, and the whole family. I have so many great memories of Dan from Good Shepherd, being driven around in the van by Chuck to the movies or a party, having Boy Scouts meetings at the house, making funny videos with the Camcorder. Toward the end of 8th grade, I was happy to learn that Dan would also be joining me, Dave, Brad, Mike, and Lee at Cabrini for high school. But if there's one thing all my memories of Dan have in common, it's that he was always in a good mood and making everyone laugh. Once again, much love to Debbie, Brad, and the whole family. Dan will be missed Adam Krause
  • Dan was the funniest guy I've ever met. Whether he was leaving me voicemails of himself singing Alanis Morissette songs or texting me to watch Gabe's YouTube channel, I've never enjoyed a human being as much as I enjoyed Dan. His best man speech at Brad's wedding was legendary. I laughed about it for days after. He was one of a kind. He was one of my best friends in the world. And I will miss him every day. Nate Stemen
  • We are saddened to hear of Dan’s passing. We only met him once at Brad & Katie’s wedding, but his toast to the couple left a lasting impression. We know that he will be missed, but certainly not forgotten. Our Condolences, The Bortner’s John & Mary Bortner
  • The first time seeing Dan was when Dan , Brad, and our son Steve played against each other in basketball at Good Shepard. In high school he would visit our home with that wonderful smile, and politeness that was a reflection of both his parents. He was so proud of his son Gabriel, and took much joy in talking about him. May God welcome him into his wonderful Kingdom. Hattie Suda Hattie Suda
  • So sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Mrs. Suda and I hold in our hearts many fond memories of Dan and the whole Lacroix family. From countless high school basketball games to moving our Son Steve who shared a dorm at Eastern with Dan. Still think Dan had the best "best man" speech I ever heard given at his Brother Brad and Katie's wedding! May he rest in peace. John M Suda
