Don worked at Great Lakes Steel beginning early 1970’s on the railroad and retired from the GLS in 2001 as a bricklayer. He was very proud of his job, the work that he did and the friends that he made there. He provided very well for his family. Don and Josette recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary and are longtime residents of the City of River Rouge. Don and his dog Benji went on daily walks around the city, stopping to talk with neighbors and friends. He always had fun stories and laughs to share. Don and Josette loved to travel; their favorite vacation spots included Lake Tahoe NV and Northern Michigan. Don and Josette’s home is where the family gathered on many weekends, holidays and special events, and enjoyed Don’s cooking.

Don Lozon was a truly wonderful Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle Neighbor and Friend. He is and always will be greatly missed.
