Obituary

LITWALK, John David Sr, age 62 of Lincoln Park, passed away suddenly on August 18, 2020. John is the beloved fiancé of Jacqueline Miller and the former spouse of Debra Litwalk. John was the loving father of John David Litwalk Jr., Kristin Martinez, Jamie Hershner, Courtney Litwalk, Dakota Cady. He was the step-father of Angel Piasecki, Tiffany and Jeremy Miller. A proud grandfather of Zachary Litwalk, Jarrod Litwalk, James Martinez, Iyana Calles, Joseph Crowder, Colton Martinez and Gavin Dex Hershner. John was also the dear brother of Katherine Zdunczyk, Jim Litwalk, Debbie Macleod, Bobby Litwalk, Salley Lorey, Betty Rader and Linda Palmgren. Sadly, he is preceded in death by his parents, James and Wanda and siblings, William Litwalk, Donna Church and Pam Cady. John worked as a mechanic at GM for many years and later worked as a tow truck driver prior to his retirement. He had a love for hunting, fishing and gardening and often canned his own vegetables. Those who knew John, knows how he has touched so many lives in so many different ways. He could light up a room within seconds of him entering. His wit, jokes, and charismatic charm would always leave you with a smile on your face. His loss will be felt greatly by all who knew him.
