John Lemanski, Jr., a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 24, 2025, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at the age of 78. Born on July 9, 1946, in Monroe, Michigan, John lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication.

John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a strong sense of duty and honor. Following his service, he embarked on a successful career as a Superintendent in construction, where his leadership and expertise left a lasting impact on many projects and colleagues.

Beyond his professional achievements, John was a man of many passions. He found great joy in golfing, fishing, and hunting, pursuits that allowed him to connect with nature and share cherished moments with friends and family. An avid pool player, he enjoyed the camaraderie and challenge of a good game of 8-ball. Together with his beloved wife, Dianne, John traveled extensively, exploring Europe and other destinations, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl Lemanski, Sr., and his brother, Edward (Carol) Lemanski, Leo Lemanski, Delphine Darin, and Margaret (Edward) Steinlauf.  He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Dianne; his daughter, Colleen Tanck, and her husband, Todd; and his three grandchildren, Alexandra Arnold and her husband, Chris, Samantha Tanck, and Scott Tanck.
