  • Kristal was the BEST. Made you laugh, kept things light, made work so much better than it was without her. And she always made you feel good about yourself. She will be so missed. But I think of her smile, and I feel better. She was that kind of person. She was an angel even when she was here with us. Love you. Sharon Devine

  • Kristal was my childhood best friend. We immediately bonded. She always made me laugh and had a smile that would light up a room. She was the kind of friend that we could go months and not see each other and then pick up exactly where we left off like we were never apart. When she got sick she amazed me with her positive attitude. She kept her sense of humor and faith throughout her journey. It was hard for me to see her sick. I felt like I needed to be the one to say things to make her feel better. She always flipped it on me and would say something to help me. That was just her way. When she started to lose her hair I told her she was beautiful. She laughed at me but I meant it. Her inner beauty shined bright. She cared deeply for her family and friends and put others before herself. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend to grow up with. I will never forget our laughs, the goofy things we would do or say. The concerts we went to, swimming in her pool, playing Barbies. All the food we ate and the movies we would sneak and watch on Cinemax and HBO. Lol. We had a shared love of 80s hair bands and horror movies. Because of all these memories she will always be with me. I am grateful that the last few years we got to spend more time together. That time is so precious to me. I love you Speet! ❤️ Mandi Jones
  • My heart goes out to you all in this horrible time. Kristal was one of the sweetest and the most hilarious person ever! She always came to work smiling and kept the mood light during our midnight shifts. She really was a great person, friend, and nurse! She will be missed! Kristine Powell
