Obituary

LAFOREST, MaryAnn, age 80, of Northville, October 05, 2024. Beloved wife of George Vincent LaForest, Jr. for 55 years. Loving mother of Michael (Sara) LaForest, J.P. (Kristen) LaForest, Jennifer LaForest, Renee (Daniel) Pompi and Timothy (Michelle) LaForest.  Dear grandmother of George, Gavin, Dylan, Nolan, Alex, Emma, Madi, Anna, Bennett, Susie and Sofia, sister of Thomas (Alice) DeGregorio, and sister-in-law of Kathie (Tom) DeGregorio-Jones. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Eva DeGregorio and her brother Sam DeGregorio. MaryAnn took great pride in being a loving mother and grandmother. She had great civic pride and volunteered in her children’s many catholic schools. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vista Maria, 20651 Warren Ave., Dearborn Hts., Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1820 Mt. Elliott, Detroit or Alzheimer Association, Michigan, 25200 Telegraph Road, #100, Southfield
