Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Marie Layson, who departed this life on February 22, 2026, at the age of 86. Patricia was born on February 18, 1940, in Wyandotte, Michigan, and passed in Taylor, Michigan.
Patricia was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was her family. She cherished her time spent cooking for her loved ones and found happiness in tending to her beloved birds and fish. Her nurturing spirit and warmth touched all who knew her.
Preceding her in death are her beloved spouse, Dean Layson; her sons, Kevin Raboin Bobbie Raboin and Wayne Raboin; and her parents, Alex and Grace Trombley. She was also preceded by many siblings who held a special place in her heart.
Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her surviving children: Randy Raboin, Shelly (Benjamin) Turner, and Kelly (Ricardo) Madrigal. Her grandchildren, Tiffany (Brian) Rogers, Brandon Turner, Ricardo Madrigal Jr., Michael Madrigal, Ashley (Tony) Schultz, and Patricia Patrick, will forever remember her gentle guidance and caring spirit. Her great-grandchildren, Landen, Addelyn, and Remington Rogers, brought her endless joy, along with other grandchildren & great-grandchildren whose names are not known but were always held close in her heart.
She is also survived by her dear sisters, Yvonne Duchene, Sueann Childers, Kimi (Tim) Pyles, and many other siblings, each of whom shared a special bond with her.
Patricia's legacy will continue through the love and memories shared by her family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply loved.
