Obituary

Lamb, Ramona G., age 48, of Romulus, March 4, 2023. Beloved and devoted wife of Timothy Lamb. Devoted mom to Elise Nichole Lamb, and her sweet Shih Tzu Hazel Mae Lamb. Loving daughter of Linda Gayle Cruz (Daniel). Loving Daughter in-law to Patricia and Dale Lamb. She is survived by her brother, Daniel A. Cruz III and her Sister in-laws Jessica Cruz and Michele Lamb. Ramona also leaves behind her nephews Jacob, Ethan, and Noah. She is also survived by her many loving Aunts (Elaine, Donna, Christine and Olene), Uncles (Jerry, John, Mark, and Tom), and her many cousins and friends who will greatly miss her smile and laughter every day. She was preceded in death by her father Daniel Cruz Jr., and her maternal and paternal grandparents. We know that she is at peace with her Grandma Franklin and her dad who have already entered the gates of Heaven.  Ramona was a child of God and shared her love of the Lord with everyone she met. Despite being challenged with a variety of health struggles she never lost her faith. Ramona never hesitated to tell you her thoughts and was unapologetically honest. She loved to cook and could often be found in the kitchen trying out a new recipe that she wanted everyone to try. Ramona and her nephews had even tried several flour tortilla recipes and they didn’t give up to find the right combination of ingredients. Despite our Mexican Princess going home to be with the Lord, we will never forget the strength, courage and faith she demonstrated whenever she confronted something that got in her way. She was a warrior and will be greatly missed by all. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to ask that you make a donation to any of the following charities in her honor, however her husband does hold Gastroparesis Patient Association for Cures and Treatments Association close to his heart where you can find a link on her obituary to donate directly to the cause. Some of the following other charities are Asthma Association, Neurological Disorder Society, POTS Association, American Heart Association, Spinal Cord Injury Research, PTSD Association, Chronic Paid Association and the Adrenal Gland at Wayne State with Dr Alzohaili MD.

  • Ramona was very special. She was so beautiful, inside and out. She loved to tell little children about Jesus. She had a great faith in the Lord and walked with Him. She loved her husband and was so proud of him always saying how he could do this and that. She loved deeply. I remember how she babied her puppy. She sure loved her mama and was proud of her. She was the sort of gal you could talk to about anything and she understood from her heart. Sending deepest sympathy to her family. Ramona will be greatly missed. I'm so glad she was saved, and we will get to see her again in her brand new body. Janine Burke
