Obituary

Randall Lee Leach, born on August 9, 1954, passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2025, at the age of 70. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family above all else.

Born and raised a proud Lincoln Park graduate, Randy raised his family nearby in Woodhaven and spent his professional life in the steel & industrial industries. Randy was a dedicated fan of Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers and was a supporter through every season. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as camping, fishing, golfing and taking leisurely drives with his beloved wife Theresa through Elizabeth Park and stopping to talk to the fishermen along the Detroit River. Randy was a proud supporter of his grandchildren's sports and activities, always planning road trips to support and encourage them.

Throughout his life, Randy maintained a close-knit group of lifelong friends who he loved dearly. They raised their families together and considered each other family. His warmth, generosity, and devotion to those he loved will be missed by all who knew him.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ruth Leach. He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Theresa Leach; his children, Rob (Lauren Armiak) Leach and Lisa (Kevin) Sullivan; and his cherished grandchildren, Kyla, Kamryn, and Eddie. He also leaves behind his siblings, Zelda (Greg) Kiel, Bill (Judy) Leach, and Debbie (John) Sims, along with many nieces and nephews who were dear to him.

Randy’s legacy is one of unwavering love, support, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
