Obituary
Sandra Joyce Lipiec, born on June 29, 1942, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away on July 10, 2025, in Livonia, Michigan, at the age of 83. She will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sandra was a woman of many interests and passions. She found joy in the simple pleasure of reading and had a deep appreciation for audiobooks. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing, a pastime that brought her closer to nature. The vibrant energy of live music was something she cherished throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Lipiec, her parents, Harold and Greta Hellrung, and her brother, Tim Hellrung. Her family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Sandra is survived by her devoted children, Debra (Michael) Juday and Gerald Patrick Cole. Her grandchildren, Megan (Nick), Sarah, and Emily, will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Sandra's family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Michigan Humane Society, an organization close to her heart.
Sandra Joyce Lipiec will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the stories shared, the music played, and the books read in her honor.
