Obituary
Shirley Rae Lewis, born on November 10, 1946, in Rodell, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 77.
Throughout her life, Shirley dedicated herself to her work as a bookkeeper. In her younger years, she found joy in roller skating and ice skating, activities that brought warmth and laughter to those who knew her. As time went on, she discovered a passion for golfing, which she enjoyed immensely. Above all, Shirley cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; their presence brought her boundless happiness and fulfillment.
Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Archie and Louise Blevins. She is survived by her devoted spouse, Larry Lewis, and her loving children, Ernie Lewis and Sunday (Craig) Alcantara. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Karissa (Ryan) Cook and Madison (Mike) Pluto, and her adored great-grandchildren, Ella, Maci, and Aaron. Shirley is also survived by her sister, Donna Hart, and her brothers, Archie (Cynthia) Blevins and Keith Blevins.
Shirley's warm spirit, dedication to her family, and zest for life will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
