Obituary

Stephan Lloyd Lazenby, aged 73, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026, in Wayne, Michigan. Born on December 15, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, Stephan was one of five siblings raised with love and devotion by their mother, Diana.

Stephan is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Linda Lazenby, who was his steadfast companion through all of life’s journeys. Together, they built a close-knit family that was Stephan’s greatest pride. He is survived by his children, Stephan (Tabatha) Lazenby Jr. and Leah (Brian) Gurner; his grandchildren, Mariah Lazenby, Jake Lazenby, Michael Clifford, Thomas Clifford, Jakob Sheehy, Lila Gurner, Joseph Kline, and Kaylin Gurner; and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, holding a particularly close and special bond with his niece, Megan Sheehy, and his nephew, Shaun Clifford.

Stephan found simple joy in life’s best moments. He loved nothing more than taking his wife out to eat for a good meal together, relaxing at home to watch old westerns, and sharing laughs whenever his family gathered around.

He was preceded in death by his mother Diana Reeves; his siblings, Kurt Lazenby, Jeffrey Reeves, Lori Runyan; and his nephew Bobby Lazenby.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A service in honor of Stephan’s life will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Stephan will be laid to rest at Romulus Cemetery.

Condolences

  • My heart is heavy after learning this news. I will always remember him with so much love and keep our fondest memories close. Every time I saw him, he was ready with a story that never failed to bring a smile to my face. He was a truly wonderful human being, and the world has certainly lost a good one. My whole heart and all my prayers go out to the family during this difficult time. I deeply wish I could be there to say my final goodbyes in person, but please know I am holding him, and all of you, in my thoughts. Stephanie Zuke Milano
