Barbara Mustafa (Jones), 81 of Fredericksburg, VA, formerly of Bowie, MD, and proudly born Michigander, passed away on October 5, 2021, and is survived by her son Joseph Mustafa of Bowie, MD, and daughter Shethir Riva (James) of Stafford, VA, along with grandchildren Gabriel and Norah. Proceeded in death by her husband Akram Mustafa, who was the kindest husband and father and lovingly missed, and her parents Charles and Evelyn Jones. The family would like to thank the hardworking medical staff at Mary Washington Hospital, in particular the palliative care unit and hospice nurses, who cared for both Barbara and family. Barbara adored her grandchildren and supporting their sports and school events. Grandparents Day was her favorite.
