Obituary
Barbara J. McFarland, age 89, born in Detroit, Michigan. Preceded in death by her late Husband Wayne and daughter Laura.
Her life was challenging raising 5 children, selling Avon and being a housewife for 25 years. Retired as an office manager for a General Surgeon. Barbara was very successful in all her responsibilities. She really enjoyed doing crafts and was very creative.
Barbara is survived by her 4 remaining children, Deborah Dishon, (Bob Ulrich) , David (Anita), Carol (Bob) Mittenmeyer, Susan (Dave) Rushing, 4 grandchildren Renee, Ashley, Caitlin, and David, along with 2 great-grandchildren.
Cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Private inurnment will take place in Michigan Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Barbara’s name to either the American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Association.
